The woman called "Energy Medicine Woman" and "Acupuncture Woman" is , Ph.D., L.Ac. For more than 10 years, Dr. Lucas has been helping people enjoy better health and increased happiness through the use of techniques from the field of Traditional Medicine or what is more frequently called Alternative Medicine. She is a Psychologist, practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, Reiki Master and Certified Colorpuncturist. Some of her specialties in her Traditional Chinese medical practice include Cosmetic Acupuncture, treatment of allergies, sports injuries, women's libido, breast and menopausal issues, and improving general health. Her treatment protocols are guided by the use of Traditional Chinese Medicine Pulse Diagnosis as well as by the symptoms reported by the client.

In fact, the National Library of Medicine (at NIH) has more than 2300 studies on Acupuncture and TCM in its archives from 1970-1997 and NIH continues to fund research.
